Unit Focus: The Clade of Andaluciá
Ordo Xenos Classification: Third/Fourth-Generation Genestealer ‘Neophyte’ Mutation
Local Designation: ‘Clade of Andalucía’
When the symbols started appearing on back-alley walls or Metrosphere stations isn’t known. From seemingly nowhere, the image of Tentacles wrapped around something approaching a worm or insect were daubed across the hive cities and worker communes of Vernox. Disregarded as small-time gang markings or teenage graffiti, the symbol was much more. It was a statement of intent, a welcoming beacon to those who knew. It was a sign that the Clade of Andalucía was active in the area, and that those touched by the hand of the Deep weren’t alone.
Named after the mining vessel that first found the would-be Patriarch of the entire Coven, The Clade of Andalucía are one of the many circles running in The Cult of the Endless Deep. The Clade contains members in the third or fourth generation of the family, those who have gained increasingly human-like features, and were able to blend within fringe groups in society. The Clade of Andalucía was formed as a way for these brothers and sisters to band together, a survival mechanism as they leave the underground network of tunnels and wreckage, and begin to find their way within Konstruct society.
The Clade can be found working as a part of mining crews, or as low-level dock workers, or even munitorum runners. They serve as the over-ground eyes and ears of the Coven. They are able to report on the feelings and thoughts of the populace on a ground level, whilst securing munitions and tools from their carefully chosen places of work. Keeping a low profile, The Clade of Andalucía is hidden in plain sight. It has influence and presence throughout the Fontannus system, but moves completely undetected, biding its time until The Konstruct is ready to be liberated.
